About

Wojciech Tracewski studied painting at the Art Academy of Warsaw. In the early 80’s he was one of the pioneers of the new at that time movement in art, called Transvanguard or New Wave in English and Neue Wilde in German. This style is characterised by it’s strong and provocative expression, emotionalism and very often the poetics of the absurd.
